We are delighted to announce that PharmEnable’s CEO, Dr Hannah Sore, has been named as one of the top 30 women leaders and innovators in the BioBeat’20 report. The Movers and Shakers in BioBusiness 2020 list showcases outstanding innovators in the UK bioscience scene that bring new strategies and creativity to the global healthcare industry. The report highlights exceptional innovation and collaboration across the UK life sciences industry, with women nominated for science and technology; finance; collaboration; patient impact and infrastructure.
Hannah features as one of the Movers and Shakers in science and technology for “using AI to find medicines inspired by nature”. During the 2020 UK lockdown, PharmEnable secured £1.8 million in seed financing led by Cambridge Enterprise alongside angel investors and life science investment funds. Hannah is nominated together with other entrepreneurs and business leaders who are recognised for their contributions to global health innovation.
In this year’s BioBeat report, the Movers and Shakers alumni also included PharmEnable’s CBO, Dr Jelena Aleksic, and Dr Jane Dancer, who is Chair of our Board of Directors. Both were featured for their roles in leading the UK life sciences industry through collaboration.
